Could enjoy this event a lot more....
Upon arrival, we noticed a large number of empty seats at the PBR Lucas Oil Touring Pro Division, but were able to move to better seats as Ticketmaster didn't do well on seat selections on their website. They brought the riders out for introductions before the event, with 35 guys standing there, in no particular order, announced without even a wave from the rider. Now that's done, time to start the event. It might be a good idea to explain to the crowd what was getting ready to happen, uh...think? No explanation of rules or scoring or ANYTHING! Why not do a head shot and experience and hometown on the big screen when each rider was getting ready? This would have been a BIG help in getting fans for the riders. They had 3 "sections" as they called it, then narrowed it down to 10 "finalists" and the winner was chosen because he fell off the bull in the first round but was put into the finals and was the only rider NOT to fall off. It would have been nice to know how all of this worked. The clowns were good entertaining, and the bulls were the stars of the show. BUT, this could have been a really fun event, IF the organization wanted to get the crowd involved and TELL them what was going on. Had a WHOLE LOT BETTER time at the event, but it could have been a good PBR Lucas Oil Touring Pro Division.
